About me
Trained from the ground up – in reconstruction, in the face, in aesthetics.
My training began in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery with Burn Center at Krankenhaus München Bogenhausen under Professor Wolfgang Mühlbauer. I later took over as senior physician in charge of craniofacial surgery there.

What patients often ask me
What happens at the first consultation?
I take the time to understand your wishes, examine you and explain what options exist – and what their limits are. You receive an honest assessment of whether a procedure makes sense, and if so, which one.
Take some time to think things over after the consultation – a good decision needs calm.
Will my health insurance cover the costs?
Purely aesthetic procedures are generally self-pay services. There may be exceptions where there is a medical need, for example with some forms of lipedema or very large breasts that cause symptoms. We clarify this on a case-by-case basis.
How do I find the right surgeon?
Look for the German specialist title “Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie” (plastic and aesthetic surgery), for experience with exactly the procedure you are planning, and for a consultation that also openly addresses risks and limits.
Can I also ask Dr. Wörl questions between appointments?
Yes. In your personal, encrypted patient area, you can ask questions in writing and share images. You will receive the answer there, usually within a few working days. You set up the area yourself under “My account” – voluntarily and only with your consent. It is not intended for emergencies: in that case, please call the practice or dial 112.
Is there a guarantee for the result?
No. No reputable surgeon can guarantee a specific result, because healing is individual. What I can promise you: careful planning, an operation in line with current medical standards and close follow-up care.
