Body – harmonizing contours
Liposuction, lipedema treatment and tightening operations after weight loss or pregnancy: an overview of all treatments – with the process step by step and patient information to download.

Liposuction
Targeted, gentle removal of stubborn fat deposits – using tumescent and vibration techniques, often as an outpatient procedure. Not a method of weight reduction.

Lipedema
Liposuction is the only effective method of removing diseased fat tissue in lipedema – gently, often in several stages.

Body contouring and tightening
Tummy tuck, body lift, and upper arm and thigh lifts for excess skin after weight loss or pregnancy.

Mommy makeover
Tummy tuck, breast lift and liposuction – combined for the changes after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
My approach
A natural result that suits your body
When deciding which approach is indicated for you individually, my priority is a natural result that suits your body – taking into account your wishes, your anatomical conditions and the realistic possibilities of the procedure.
Body contouring procedures such as body lifts, abdominal wall reconstructions, tightening operations and liposuction – both for medical reasons in lipedema and in aesthetics – were already an integral part of my training.
- Liposuction using tumescent and vibration techniques
- Lipedema liposuction, performed gently along the lymphatic vessels
- Tummy tuck, body lift, upper arm and thigh lift

Frequently asked questions about the body
Liposuction or tightening – which do I need?
With good skin elasticity and localized fat deposits, liposuction is often sufficient. If excess skin is the main problem, for example after major weight loss, tightening makes more sense. The two procedures are often combined. I clarify this during the examination.
When is the right time after weight loss?
Your weight should have been stable for several months. Then the excess skin can be assessed reliably, and the result is maintained.
Will my health insurance cover the costs?
Purely aesthetic procedures are generally self-pay services. For lipedema, coverage may be possible under certain conditions; for tightening procedures sometimes, if there are medical complaints. We clarify this on a case-by-case basis.
